FREIGHT INCREASES
Most LTL carriers have or will be implementing a 4 to 7
percent nationwide freight increase, while small pack-
age carriers have or will be implementing a 3 to 5 per-
cent overall increase.
CALIFORNIA SALES TAX
Effective January 1, 2002, the California sales tax
increased from 8.5% to 8.75%.
HASTINGS FILTERS
The Hastings TF92 filter has been discontinued and
replaced with the TF162, the LF344 has been discon-
tinued and replaced with the LF115 and the FF1066 has
been discontinued and replaced with the FF1095.
HOLIDAY CLOSING
The Edmonton Distribution Center will be closed
Monday, February 18 for Family Day.

tenth, instead of to the whole number.
Dealers are now able to register Preferred Customers
at Distribution Centers.
