I own an older 3500 gmc with a 427 talldeck motor (not origonal)
what oil should i use
How many miles on the engine? What do you use the truck for, primarily? Where do you live? How many miles do you put on each year? Heavy hauling? All year driving? Previous oil? Previous oil change intervals?
There are alot of variables that go into such a decision. That’s why this page exists. To help you to begin to think through those issues/variables and make such a decision based on the merits of the oil relative to what you need.
