If you start using “synthetic” motor oil instead of regular oil can you go more miles before you have to change it? I have a 1993 ford taurus 3.8L automatic GL and use regular 5w-30 motor oil. I change the oil every 5000 miles.
I have a Honda S2000 its an 01. Till now I’ve been using full synthetic when I get oil changes, but it’s so expensive. Can I switch to mid grade or even just regular or will that mess me up? Thanks for your help!
