Keep Us Out of Your Spambox

Periodically, email/internet providers such as AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo or Gmail, mistakenly filter our mailings (either deleting them entirely or sending them to your bulk/junk/spam folder, assuming they are SPAM. In order to make sure our email response gets through to you, it would be helpful if you would add us to your "address book" and also to your "whitelist" or "safelist" (instructions provided below if you're not sure how).

Even if our email to you has already been placed in your INBOX and was not filtered as spam, it would still be a good idea to add us to your white/safelist/address book to be certain that FUTURE emails are also sent to your INBOX. It only takes a moment, and will ensure that any further correspondence between us is not "lost" into the email filtering abyss.

We have separated our instructions below by the largest email providers. If yours is not listed, and you don't know how to do what we've suggested above, you may wish to contact your email provider and ask them for assistance. Otherwise, please click on your provider in the list below to be presented with instructions for your email system.

As far as your safelist/whitelist is concerned, it is often better to simply add our email DOMAIN (guarding-our-earth.com) to your list as opposed to a single address (ie. info@guarding-our-earth.com), just in case you receive a message from two different "departments" (ie. sales@guarding-our-earth.com AND support@guarding-our-earth.com). Adding just "guarding-our-earth.com" to your list will allow ANY "department" (ie. sales, support, special-offers) to get through to you.

Email/Internet Providers OTHER Than Those Listed (back to top | Close These Instructions )

Other providers also sometimes filter users email. In order to be certain that you receive our email, you may want to consider adding us to your address book and also to your white/safelist if you are provided one. If you're adding us to your address book, you'll need to include a specific email address: dealerinfo@guarding-our-earth.com (copy and paste it to avoid typing errors). If you are adding us to your white/safelist, then you should probably add just our domain name: guarding-our-earth.com (again, I'd recommend copying and pasting it).

Open the email we sent.
Click on the "Add Address" icon.
Our email address is automatically populated in the name and email fields in the "Add Contact" dialogue box. Verify that the information is correct.
Click the Save button.
Our email address will be automatically entered into your AOL address book.

Now, you can move our email to your inbox (if it's not already there), and all future emails should also be sent to your inbox instead of your spam folder.

If you don't see our email in your inbox OR your spam folder within 24 hours after your information request was received (normally it is within seconds or minutes), please call us so we can provide further instructions or provide the information to you via a different method: 925 373 0811

AOL® Users:

If our email is sitting in your inbox OR has been sent to your spam folder, and you can find it there (it will be listed as being from "BestSyntheticOil"):

Open the email we sent.
Click on the "Add Address" icon.
Our email address is automatically populated in the name and email fields in the "Add Contact" dialogue box. Verify that the information is correct.
Click the Save button.
Our email address will be automatically entered into your AOL address book.

EarthLink® Users:

If our email is sitting in your inbox OR has been sent to your spam/bulk/junk folder, and you can find it there (it will be listed as being from "BestSyntheticOil"):

Open the email we sent.
Click your mailbox's "Message" menu and choose "Add Senders" to your address book.
Your email message will be automatically entered into your EarthLink address book.

Now, you can move our email to your inbox (if it's not already there), and all future emails should also be sent to your inbox instead of your spam folder.

Gmail® Users:

If our email is sitting in your inbox OR has been sent to your spam/bulk/junk folder, and you can find it there (it will be listed as being from "BestSyntheticOil"):

Open the email we sent.
Click on the "More options" link next to the date.
Click on "Add sender to Contacts list" in the options below the Subject line.
Your email message will be automatically entered into your Gmail contacts list.

Now, you can move our email to your inbox (if it's not already there), and all future emails should also be sent to your inbox instead of your spam folder.

Hotmail® Users:

If our email is sitting in your inbox OR has been sent to your spam/bulk/junk folder, and you can find it there (it will be listed as being from "BestSyntheticOil"):

Open the email we sent.
Click "Save Address(es)" at the top of the message.
Our email address is automatically populated in the email field in the "Add to Address Book" page.
Your email message will be automatically entered into your Hotmail address book.

You should probably also add our domain to your safe/whitelist just to be on the safe side. It is very simple:

Click on Options (look in the upper right corner)
In Options, select Contacts
In Contacts, select Safe List
Type in guarding-our-earth.com and click add
Our domain has now been added to your Safe List

Now, you can move our email to your inbox (if it's not already there), and all future emails should also be sent to your inbox instead of your spam folder.

If you don't see our email in your inbox OR your spam folder within 24 hours after your information request was received (normally it is within seconds or minutes), the steps above for adding our domain to your safe/whitelist should alleviate any email communication problems. Perform those steps, and then return to our site and re-request the information.

Yahoo!® Users:

If our email is sitting in your inbox OR has been sent to your spam/bulk/junk folder, and you can find it there (it will be listed as being from "BestSyntheticOil"):

Open the email we sent.
Click "Add to Address Book" link next to the icon on the far right.
Our email address is automatically populated in the email field in the "Add to Address Book" page. Verify the information is correct.
Click "Add to Address Book."
Your email message will be automatically entered into your Yahoo! address book.

You should probably also add our domain to your safe/whitelist just to be on the safe side. It is actually very simple:

Once logged into Yahoo Mail, at the top RIGHT SIDE, click the link that says MAIL OPTIONS.
On the MAIL OPTIONS screen, click the link that says FILTERS.
On the FILTERS screen, click the ADD tab.
In the FILTER NAME field, type guarding-our-earth.com (our EMAIL domain)
On this same page, you'll see a section that says "If all of the following rules are true . . . "
Just beneath the words 'If all of the following rules . . . ", you'll see a line that says FROM HEADER. Next to that is a drop down box that says 'contains.'
Finally, to the FAR RIGHT, you'll see an empty box.
In that empty box on the line FROM HEADER "contains", type guarding-our-earth.com and change NOTHING ELSE in this section!
Move DOWN to the section of the page that begins with the word "Then . . . "
In the drop-down box just beneath the word "Then . . . ", select Inbox
On the LEFT side of the screen, click ADD FILTER.
You're done. Continue reading emails or sign out from Yahoo! Mail.

Now, you can move our email to your inbox (if it's not already there), and all future emails should also be sent to your inbox instead of your spam folder.
