Sorry not to reply sooner. Busy week. I've had a number of dealers who've expressed satisfaction with the new filters and their efficiency. Fuel efficiency has seen improvement in a number of vehicles. Haven't seen any oil analysis reports specifically comparing contamination levels with the new EA filters vs the previous foam filters. Most customers and dealers are very happy about the no tack oil option.

I have one on my Yukon XL, but never had one of the foam filters on this vehicle, so I have no reference to compare against.

I have one of the older style and cleaning and reapplying tack oil is a pain. I am thinking of just going to the new filter the next time mine is due for cleaning.
