AMSOIL Price Adjustment

by AMSOILCorporate

The lubricants industry has experienced rapidly increasing base stock and additive cost increases over the past few months, and many other lubricant manufacturers have recently implemented 5 to 15 percent price increases. While AMSOIL makes every effort to maintain the lowest prices possible and has delayed raising prices for as long as possible, the ever-increasing costs of raw materials has forced AMSOIL to implement a minimal 4 to 8 percent price adjustment on select products in the U.S. effective March 1. Due to fluctuations in the exchange rate, Canadian prices will remain unchanged at this time

National Fresh Water Fishing Hall-of-Famer Gary Parsons, one of the hosts of the popular AMSOIL-sponsored fishing program The Next Bite on the Versus Network, could not hide his excitement about gaining improved fuel economy with AMSOIL products, writing the following: I thought I’d drop you a note since I’m pretty excited. You must choose an oil that is matched to your application with regards to it’s formulation and design, specifically basestocks and additives used. For example, if you are running a diesel engine, then [...]

Found out that new cars that use synthetic from factory like mercedes don’t require oil changes until 13,000 miles. Does that apply to any other car that uses synthetic oil too?

I have a 2000 v6 honda accord and it needs an oil change. I want to switch to synthetic but I dont know if it will be better to switch to full synthetic, synthetic blend or just stick with conventional.

Is synthetic oil really worth the money or is there not very much difference between the non-syn oil??? A non-syn oil change is like $25.00, give or take while a synthetic oil change is like $40.00 to $50.00.
